Key tasks & Activities

Responsible for operating machines and other associated equipment efficiently as per instructions.
Maintaining machines and equipment.

Maintaining high standards of Housekeeping.

Who we are looking for…

Background and Experience

1-year experience in a manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of Health & Safety
Action orientated and able to follow work instructions
Mechanical / electrical experience would be advantageous

Technical Skills

Tool changes and planned maintenance would be advantageous.

Interpersonal Skills

Excellent Team skills along with an enthusiastic and proactive approach
Energetic and enthusiastic approach to their current role, whilst being an effective communicator at all levels.
Possess good interpersonal skills, along with excellent organizational skills and job prioritization

Maintenance Engineer (Multi Skilled)

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, responsibilities include: maintaining and repairing production equipment and implementing on-going continuous improvement activities.

Key tasks & Activities

Plans and carries out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on the site's equipment.
Responds effectively to equipment breakdowns in order to minimize downtime and establish the root cause.
Attends site and engineering meetings to align the plan of work for the day with the production teams.
Plans, implements, and coordinates safety programs to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions. promoting workplace and equipment safety by identifying and monitoring potential hazards to people or the sites equipment.
Ensuring SAP is up to date including accurate engineering history, time worked, and parts components are booked to correct SAP maintenance transactions#

Who we are looking for..

Background and Experience

Previous experience (electrically biased)
Good logical thought process regarding fault diagnosis and rectification
Experience in Automation and Packaging machines in production environment would be advantageous

Technical Skills

Knowledge of PLC’s and Inverter drives would be advantageous.
18th edition would be advantageous.
Proficient with PC based systems (Excel, SAP) to oversee routine maintenance and organise repairs, although training will be given
Good understanding of Health & Safety

Logoplaste UK, are currently seeking to recruit an Operations Coordinator to support the Operations Team in Dumfries.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Operations Coordinator will be an integral part of the team and able to demonstrate a good hands-on approach as well as administrative tasks.

The role requires working with all teams across site to provide operational support and assist with improving systems and processes within Production, Engineering, Planning and Administration.

Key tasks & Activities

Production:

Ensuring production logs are accurate and updated, including within SAP
Assist production manager with regular review of production data, including performance and KPIs
Work closely with teams to ensure management and control of raw material waste and all associated procedures, assisting the site to maintain tight control and achieve KPIs

Planning:

Responsible for liaising with customer regarding weekly delivery schedules
Review of customer forecasts and updating of demand planning data
Updating of and responding to ad-hoc customer requests for changes to schedules
Working with Production Manager to plan manning to fit with production demands
Arranging transport for forecast demand and ad-hoc shipments,

Engineering:

Support the Maintenance Manager with purchasing site supplies, engineering items and track spending/budget control
Support the Maintenance Manager to engage with suppliers to negotiate best prices and lead times
Tracking of orders to ensure they are delivered within original timescales
Checking receipt of goods delivered against order
Ensuring parts/goods are delivered to correct supplier/partner for repair etc

Administration:

Use and maintenance of SAP (creating POs, processing VIMs)
Reconcilement of invoice queries
Provide cover for the Plant Administrator

Who we are looking for..

Experience of SAP is beneficial but not essential, training will be given
Purchasing experience would be advantageous
Stock Planning experience is essential
Previous experience within a Production environment would be beneficial
MS Office experience is essential (including proficient in Excel)
Excellent Customer Service experience and skills
Proven background in systems and process improvement activities to improve performance and achieve business KPIs
Good communication both verbal and written

Leading the induction and training of new starters on your team.

Experienced in the Logoplaste production and supply processes.

Technical Skills

Competent in using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
Previous experience of Graham Wheel/EBM/ISBM machines would be advantageous.
Leadership skills and ability to identify training needs.
Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health & Safety.
Capability to train on production lines under your management.

People skills

Positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude at all times
Flexibility and reliability are essential for this position.
